It’s the perfect way to enjoy your summer by meeting your neighbors, hear from your elected officials, and get new developments on older adult issues in regard to The Fiscal Cliff. We’ll have special guest State Representative Ray Reed along with other candidates and board member Bob Pieper speaking on updates on the Fiscal Cliff.

Join us for an engaging community discussion with special speaker Gina Aitch from the Missouri Budget Project. She’ll be breaking down how the federal budget cuts could impact Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and other programs- and what state and local leaders can do about it.

We invite you to our next Hadley Township meeting April 3rd! We’ll be welcoming Representative Ian Mackey who will be discussing the proposal for the city-county merger.

While Republicans will be holding CAUCASES, Democrats have been busy shaping a delegate selection process to be as inclusive and democratic as possible.

Guest Speaker Sydni Jackson, a member of the Venable Park Coalition, will fill us in on how community members coalesced to uncover the hidden history of a Creve Coeur Park that was built on a racist land grab. The campaign to rededicate this park - and ongoing efforts to shape its future - speak to many current debates over how to recover and reclaim historic sites in the name of inclusivity.

Heather Fleming, founder of the Missouri Equity Education Partnership, will discuss the organization’s efforts to support anti-bias and anti-racist approaches to education. She’ll also update us on how the State of Missouri is working to restrict how race, gender and history are taught in classrooms - and how we can fight back!

Join us in the park to learn more about the candidates for St Louis County Executive and St Louis County Council District 1! This will be a joint meeting with Clayton Township and Jefferson Township.
